Abstract
The synthesis of p-trifluoroacetamidophenyl 3,4,6-tri-O-acetyl-2-O-(.alpha.-D-glucopyranosyl)-.beta.-D-galactopyranoside suitable, after deacylation, for linking of 2-O-.alpha.-D-glucopyranosyl-.beta.-D-galactopyranoside residues to proteins is described.
