Abstract
Hypophysectomy in the rhesus monkey results in a small but statistically significant reduction in serum sodium concentration and a statistically significant rise in serum potassium concentration. Restriction in sodium intake, however, does not produce a further alteration in serum sodium and potassium concentration. Keywords
