Abstract
The Argonne effective mass spectrometer has been used for a high-statistics study of and at 6 GeV/c. Comparison of the two reactions allows isolation of the interference between states of differing isospin. We observe , , and interferences in the moment and find production to have a substantial contribution from some mechanism besides pion exchange. New values for the mass, width, and branching ratio into are presented.
