f,f, andA20Interference inπNKK+Nat 6 GeV/c

Abstract
The Argonne effective mass spectrometer has been used for a high-statistics study of π+pK+K++n (110000 events) and π++nK+K++p (50000 events) at 6 GeV/c. Comparison of the two reactions allows isolation of the interference between KK+ states of differing isospin. We observe fA20, fA20, and ff interferences in the Y40 moment and find f production to have a substantial contribution from some mechanism besides pion exchange. New values for the f mass, width, and branching ratio into ππ are presented.
