Abstract
The temperature dependence of the intensity of the Raman lines of a polyatomic molecule has been investigated. It is shown that, when account is taken of all possible ``hot'' band transitions as well as fundamental transitions, the temperature dependence of each band is the same as that found for the single band of a diatomic molecule. Degenerate vibrations are also considered and likewise shown to have the same temperature dependence. Keywords
