Abstract
Ancillary to RF oscillation conditions, a more fundamental limitation of bandwidth has been established for single and multiple varactor diode oscillators due to the combined capacitance swing of the active device dominant capacitance and the varactor(s). Second, modification of the varactor characteristics is investigated to achieve linear tuning. Keywords
