Abstract
LITTLE attention in the past has been paid to an understanding of the significance of an abnormally low level of urea in the blood. The major portion of the published literature discussing levels of urea is concerned with abnormal elevations. Factors causing an elevation have been subjected to much study. In contrast, little mention of the clinical conditions causing a lowering of the blood urea can be found.
