Abstract
Using Southern blot analysis of genomic DNA isolated from hamster/mouse somatic cell hybrids, we have mapped the mouse interferon-beta 1 gene to chromosome 4. Thus, as in humans, both the alpha- and beta-interferon genes are localized on the same chromosome in mouse. Keywords
