Abstract
The intra-arterial route is advocated. The drug used should be rapidly metabolized locally so that it will leave the extremity in only small amts. Histamine is such a drug and when given slowly in dilute soln., these basic requirements are fulfilled. The results are good It is claimed that it relieved night pain in almost all uncomplicated cases and improved walking tolerance in 70% of the patients within 6 weekly treatments. Keywords
