Abstract
The transverse advancement technique of ureteral reimplantation was used to reimplant 304 ureters in 205 patients [children] with primary vesicoureteral reflux. An analysis of the results indicates that diverticulum formation is a significant complication of the operation; it was encountered in 17% of the cases. This complication did not affect the reliability of the operation in regard to reflux prevention, with an over-all success rate of 98.7%.This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
