Abstract
Mild, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus without acidosis is capable of producing indigestion. The complaints usually include epigastric pain, pyrosis, bloating, belching and fluid regurgitation. Complete physical and laboratory investigation of these patients usually reveals no organic cause for the indigestion. Proper control of the diabetes either by diet or diet plus insulin will relieve the patient of his digestive complaints. Keywords
