Abstract
α-Tocopherol and selenium in samples of pasteurised milk from different areas of New Zealand were measured over 12 months. No significant differences were found between summer and winter levels of either. Milk from the Auckland area contained significantly more α-tocopherol than milk from other areas. The levels of selenium in the milk differed markedly from area to area, with more than a three-fold difference between the highest and lowest. Keywords
