Neutron Asymmetry Measurements in the Deuteron Photodisintegration between 10 and 70 MeV

Abstract
The asymmetries Σ(θc.m.=π2) for the reaction H2(γ,n)p have been measured with use of a monochromatic and linearly polarized γ-ray beam, obtained by backward Compton scattering of laser light against high-energy electrons. Contributions from meson exchange currents must be included in the theoretical calculations to reproduce our data.
