Abstract
Three genotypes of Agropyron intermedium ssp. trichophorum (2n = 42) were crossed onto .times. Triticosecale cv. Welsh (2n = 42). Bivalent frequencies per pollen mother cell in the three hybrid combinations were 4.97, 5.64, and 6.94. Pairing was attributed to autosyndesis between two genomes (N and N1) of the paternal parent rather than to genome homology between the two parents. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
