Abstract
A case of atrophic polychondritis, under observation for more than 5 years, is described; this is believed to be the first reported in Great Britain. The patient presented with degeneration of cartilage in the ears, nose, and respiratory tract; subsequently she developed polyarthritis, but there were no ocular manifestations, such as have been recorded in some previous cases. A brief review of the literature is given. Keywords
