Abstract
The principles for spinwave-frequency conversion by adiabatic field pulsing in a nonellipsoidal saturated ferromagnet are established. 1 port experiments conducted on a y.i.g. rod at L band, using spinwave injection, are described. Frequency translations of 186 MHz have been achieved. The conversion loss of the process was typically less than 3dB.Keywords
