Abstract
Vasoactive intestinal polypeptide (VIP) antiserum, α-chymotrypsin, and repeated exposure to VIP markedly reduced relaxations of the mouse anococcygeus muscle to VIP but not to field stimulation. This evidence suggests that VIP does not mediate non-adrenergic, non-cholinergic relaxations in the mouse anococcvpeus. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
