Abstract
A quick separation technique for grain size correction of trace metal contents in River Elbe sediments has been developed. The fraction < 20 μm was separated with a special settling tube and analyzed by totally reflecting X‐ray spectroscopy (TRFA). An approximate proportionality was found between the content of Zn resp. Mn in the fraction < 20 μm and the ratio of their total content to Cs and Fe as conservative elements. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
