Comparison of Eikonal Amplitudes for Potential Scattering

Abstract
A comparison is made between a number of recently proposed approximations of the eikonal type for potential scattering. The simple amplitudes proposed by Glauber, and later by Abarbanel and Itzykson, are found to be as good as any of the approximations studied.Keywords
