Abstract
The complex-coordinate method is applied to the resonance states of a potential introduced by Ginnochio and studied by Alhassid, Iachello, and Levine. It is shown that the potential is not dilatation analytic, and so the complex-coordinate method fails for this potential. Resonance energies and lifetimes can be obtained by applying the Siegert criterion, however. Keywords
