Abstract
A calculation is made of the elastic scattering of pions from and at an energy of 450 MeV. A single scattering optical potential is used with nuclear and nucleon form factors as determined elsewhere and the scattering amplitude expressed in terms of phase parameters. It is found that several of the phase parameter sets can be readily distinguished by means of the -nuclear scattering which they predict at this energy.
