Abstract
The angular correlations have been measured between the charged particles and gamma-rays in the 14N(d, αγ)12C, 14N(d, pγ)15N, and 9Be(d, pγ)10Be reactions. In the first two reactions the angular distributions of the charged particles leading to the ground state and first excited state of the final nucleus have also been observed. The results agree with the assignments 2+ for the first excited levels of 12C and 10Be, and suggest spins 1/2 or 3/2 for the close doublet of 15N at 5·3 mev. Keywords
