Abstract
For the first time the presence of carpal coalition in arthrogryposis multiplex congenita is reported. The presence of carpal articular aplasia suggests that developmental alterations in the embryonic interarticular mesenchyme have a significant role in the pathogenesis of the striking joint deformities of arthrogryposis. This publication has 15 references indexed in Scilit:
