Eosinopenic Responses of Pyridoxine-Deficient Rats to Epinephrine, Adrenocorticotropic Hormone and Hypoxia.

Abstract
Epinephrine injns. and hypoxia treatment caused equal eosinopenia in pyridoxine-deficient, pair weighed and normally fed intact rats. Injns. of ACTH in both intact and hypophysecto-mized rats likewise produced equal eosinopenic responses in these 3 groups. By this criterion the pyridoxine deficiency did not produce significant changes in adrenal function.Keywords
