Abstract
The novel hydride gallaborane, GaBH6, synthesised by metathesis involving monochlorogallane and lithium tetrahydridoborate, has been characterised by its spectroscopic and chemical properties; electron diffraction confirms that the gaseous molecule has a diborane-like structure, H2Ga(µ-H)2BH2.Keywords
