Abstract
A dual version of the Levine-Athans algorithm for solving the optimal constant output feedback gain for continuous-time systems is studied. Global convergence of the procedure to a stationary point of the loss function is proved. A global convergence property of the Levine-Athans algorithm is also obtained. Keywords
