Abstract
A series of fully methylthiolated bi-, ter-, and quatertetrathiafulvalenes have been synthesized using cross- and homocoupling reactions of tetrathiafulvalenylzinc derivatives; the tetracation−tetraradical derived from the helical tetrathiafulvalene tetramer exhibits an intramolecular association of the terminal cation-radicals.Keywords
