Abstract
We present a new algorithm for computing the heading from multiple frames which improves on previous approaches. It exploits our discovery and analysis of a new structure-from-motion ambiguity. Allowing for this ambiguity also makes two-frame reconstruction more robust. We show experimentally that the error landscape for planar scenes has few significant local minima. Keywords
