Abstract
By means of appearance potential measurements and metastable analysis, it is shown that the [C2H6N]+ and [CH4N]+ ions formed from methylated formamides, acetamides, ureas and thioureas rearrange upon formation to structures similar to the [MH]+ ions from mono‐ and dimethylamine. Keywords
