Abstract
The pregnancy enzymes seen in the mothers showed 2 electrophoretic cariants. In a few exceptional cases pregnancy enzymes were seen in cord sera. There is a very marked decrease in the frequency of the "antigen associated" alkaline phosphatase (the Pp 2 group) in pregnant women and newborn children. Keywords
