Abstract
It has been both claimed and denied that the presence of deciduomata in the pseudopregnant rat prolongs the diestrus of pseudopregnancy. Data are presented demonstrating that the normal length of pseudopregnancy in the albino rat (13.33 days) is prolonged an avg. of 7.27 days by the presence of 8 deciduomata in the 2 uteri of each animal. This prolongation is highly significant statistically. Keywords
