Abstract
A plasma experiment proposed for the ISEE-B project is described. Positive ions are measured as a function of the flow direction and energy per unit charge in the range ~100 eV/Z to ~10 keV/Z. The experiment uses two electrostatic hemispherical analyzers as energy selectors, with two channeltrons as particle detectors. Two modes of operation are provided, allowing both a detailed study of the ion energy spectrum and a high temporal resolution. Keywords
