Abstract
Background: Adrenal vein sampling is considered the gold standard test to identify primary aldosteronism, the most frequent form of secondary hypertension. Technical difficulties with this procedure may be overcome by monitoring cortisol concentrations in the different sampling sites during catheterization.Keywords
