Abstract
Salicylate-elimination rate, studied in a group of healthy adult men and women, varied appreciably between subjects. It is desirable that the dosage schedule in intensive salicylate therapy be adjusted individually on the basis of the patient''s predetermined salicylate elimination rate in order to prevent drug accumulation or gradual decline of drug concentration to subtherapeutic levels. Keywords
