Abstract
The lifetime of the 773 keV isomer in has been measured to be by taking coincidences between rays and projectilelike fragments produced in deep-inelastic collisions of (635 MeV). The value for the 542 keV transition in is found to be 0.042(3) Weisskopf units (W.u.). An identification method of nuclei produced in deep-inelastic collisions is also described.
