Abstract
Compton profiles of glassy carbon and polycrystalline graphite were measured with 60‐keV 241Am gamma rays. The difference between the two profiles was found to be much smaller than a recently reported measurement with Ag Ka fluorescence radiation. A probable source for this discrepancy is the underestimation of multiple scattering effects in the Ag Ka measurement. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
