Abstract
Theories of the heat of transport and the related thermal diffusion factor have been developed previously. In this paper the theories are compared with experimental results. Both theories represent adequate first approximations since they both predict the sign and magnitude of the experimental results without adjustment to experimental transport data. Keywords
