Abstract
Measurements of the production cross sections at large values of transverse momentum () for , , , and in 200- and 300-GeV/c collisions are presented. The dependences of the cross section on , the transverse scaling variable , and the production angle are discussed. The cross sections are compared with those from collisions and with theoretical predictions. While the and data are quite different, both agree qualitatively with hard-scattering calculations.
