Measurement of Charged-Hadron Multiplicities in Deep-Inelastic Electron-Proton Scattering

Abstract
We report measurements of the charged-hadron multiplicity for electrons scattered by protons at momentum transfers up to , and for up to 14 . The multiplicity is consistent with a simple lns behavior, with little or no dependence above .
