Abstract
A total of 54 fresh serums from unselected human beings and from various normal animals rapidly disintegrates Trichomonas vaginalis. Direct warm stage examinations of mixtures of serum and cultures reveal that the parasites first lose their motility, then suddenly appear indistinct and flattened out, forming shadows. The shadows gradually disintegrate and in 5 minutes or less virtually disappear. This activity of serum is destroyed by exposure at 56[degree]C for 30 minutes. Keywords
