Abstract
De-excitation of He(31S, 33S) states by collisions with Ne, Ar, Kr and Xe atoms is mainly attributed to chemi-ionization. For He(33P) states relaxation is attributed to chemi-ionization and a collisional radiative process to He(23S) states. Keywords
