Abstract
The methods of extraction of total cross sections are reviewed. The particular application to the nucleus case is considered. Because of the reliability of basic calculations of nuclear corrections, the total cross section can be extracted with very high reliability. The specific corrections have been calculated for , , , , and for momenta in the range 550–800 MeV/c.
