Abstract
Three distinct types of lesions were recognizable viz: histiocytic granulomata; tuberculoid granulomata with central necrosis surrounded by epithelioid cells and micro-abscesses. The inflammatory reaction was most severe with hyphal fragments and small, round or oval forms; it tended to diminish when larger round cells appeared and capsules increased in thickness. Large cells with wide capsules were not associated with any significant inflammatory reaction. Keywords
