Electrophoretic Mobility of Milk Fat Globules. I. Cell Design

Abstract
The construction of an acrylic plastic microelectrophoresis cell is described, along with supplemental equipment for the electrophoresis of milk fat globules. Validity of this cell is proven by comparison with a Briggs cell on milk fat globules and human erythrocytes. The validity is further proven and confirmed through theoretical aspects of the mobility-depth curve.
