Abstract
We examine the influence of additional neutral gauge bosons (Z’), which can exist in models, on the total (σ) and differential (dσ/dcosθ) sections for → . Four different models of this kind with additional Z’s are examined. We find that this process is quite sensitive to the existence of these new gauge bosons even if they are very heavy (>1/2–1 TeV) and the Z-Z’ mixing is small (sinφ≃0.025). The four models are distinguishable from each other and the standard model using data from either σ or dσ/d cosθ measurements.
