Abstract
In this Brief Report we present a simple argument to fix the relative sign of the interference between the short-distance and the resonance amplitudes for the decay . Our result agrees with the sign found from independent considerations by O'Donnell and Tung [Phys. Rev. D 43 R2067 (1991)].
