Abstract
Staled media were prepd. by growing E. coli and other members of the coliform group in peptone broth. Autoinhibitory products were produced, particularly by members of the Escherichia group. The effectiveness of these autoinhibitory products increased with increasing periods of incubation of the cultures, but there was no significant difference when incubation was at 30[degree] or 37 [degree]C.Keywords
