Lα emission from (0.1–20-keV)H+impact on Li, Na, and K

Abstract
A systematic experimental and theoretical study of Lα emission in Li(2s), Na(3s), and K(4s) collisions is presented. Good agreement is found between absolute cross sections obtained by vacuum-ultraviolet spectroscopy and atomic orbital expansion close-coupling calculations.
