Abstract
The energy of an He atom in the 23P state has been calculated through unnatural parity in the Faddeev formalism, with one term in the two-body p-wave t matrix in a separable form in momentum variables p and p' as an input. The calculation of the binding energy of the He atom in the 23P state yields a reasonable value for the energy of the excited state. Keywords
