Abstract
We would feel that it is not possible to elaborate any simple mechanical psychodynamic formula which could explain the various kinds of interaction that occur between psychosomatic illness and psychosis. The interplay of dynamic forces is complex and variable from patient to patient, as shown by all the different types of relationships that occur between the 2 clinical entities.Keywords
