Abstract
Polyphenols have been isolated from beer using chromatography on Sephadex LH20 followed by organic solvent extraction. The polyphenols were subsequently assayed by high performance liquid chromatography which showed the isolation procedure to be quantitative for the types of polyphenols present in beer. Batch to batch variation of polyphenol contents in single beer types has been found. Keywords
